Each year we have lived in Utah we've had an excuse to go down to AZ in May. This year we had a GREAT excuse! Baby Jonah was blessed. Jonah is Amelia's closest cousin age wise, so we know they will be best buds :)
We always have a blast staying with Emily and Caleb. It's fun to be in the same stage of life with our families. We went to lunch at Grandma Frassa's and then stopped by to visit Grandpa's cemetery. We always like visiting with Grandma.
On Friday Amelia got to go to the lake for the first time! Mike, Sozelle and Shannan were so nice to take us to Saguaro Lake. Amelia LOVED sitting in the lake and picking up a rock in each hand to clap together. She would probably live in the water if she had the choice. We had such a great time!
Saturday we went up to Peoria for Trey and Coby's football games. Man, those boys are so good! My jaw drops each time we get to go watch them play. Their coach probably helps that a little bit ;) Mark is so good with those boys. We had to go to Carambas afterwards for mini chimis as well!
Jonah was blessed Sunday morning. I wish I would have grabbed my camera out to get a picture of him in his cute little outfit! I guess I was too busy cleaning up Amelia's pee off the floor in the cultural hall.... yeah, that happened.
To end our fun vacation Brayden took me out to Red Lobster and got a Redbox to watch for FHE. He is so sweet!
Amelia is now 9 months old and her little personality is coming out SO much! She can crawl super fast, walk with her walker, dance (yes, I need to get a video of this), wave, point, say mama, dada, puppy, and baba, loves baths, gives lots of kisses and hugs, and is a total Mommy's girl. She did so good on her first plane ride and waved at everyone. We love our spunky little girl!
Brayden is studying for the DAT this month and taking it June 1st. I also have to brag and tell everyone he got straight A's again this semester! Not only is that difficult in his advanced classes, but he had to study while taking care of and watching Amelia while not in class. I am so lucky to have a smart, hardworking husband.
